A very Happy New Year to all our members! We are delighted that over 2,300 of our members are successfully using our new online Garda vetting system. We have had great feedback from our members regarding the convenience of the new online vetting system, saving time and money.
To help ensure Garda vetting applications are processed as quickly as possible, please ensure applicants’ full addresses are entered into the online Garda vetting form on the Early Childhood Ireland website. Incomplete addresses at both the initial stage and the applicants entering their addresses on the National Vetting Bureau website can result in the Garda vetting application being rejected. This means the Garda vetting application must be resubmitted from the start and will therefore take extra time.
Please ensure the complete address is entered. A complete address must include the county or if it is a foreign address then the town/city must be entered. If the applicant has an Eircode please use it where possible on the Early Childhood Ireland online vetting form.
When applicants are filling out their link sent from the National Vetting Bureau, they also must enter the county for each address and should enter Eircode’s where possible. All applicants who have lived in Northern Ireland must enter a postcode for their Northern Ireland addresses or their application will be rejected immediately by the National Vetting Bureau.
If you have any queries regarding the new online vetting process please see our website or phone us on 01 405 7102.
