The Early Years Employers Service (EYES) is a service dedicated to focusing on our member’s needs. Members get easy access to expert advice and guidance on all areas of operating their service from setting up, to best practice in HR plus helping with developing policies, procedures and systems to support compliance.

EYES offer our members a tiered approach so they can choose the level of support that best suits the requirements of your individual service. Members get immediate access to the EYES core services as a benefit of their membership and can select from a suite of add on services as they need them.

Core Services

The EYES Core services are available to our members as part of their Membership fee.

• Our dedicated helpline, as a benefit of your membership, can be accessed via phone line or email. We answer your queries on HR, Regulations, Compliance, Policies and Procedures and lots more. We are available Monday to Friday 9am-5pm to provide a listening ear and assist with any questions you may have.

• Members also have access to comprehensive information on topics that are of relevance to them in our weekly newsletter ‘Early Times Weekly’, on our website and in our quarterly magazine ‘Early Times’.

• Our continued analysis of regulations and compliance means that we can provide useful and accessible hardcopy shop resources and online downloadable resources.

• To supplement these supports, EYES will host events that will be informed by the topics and queries through our engagement with our members. We will keep up to date on legislative updates and other specific areas of concern for our members

HR Compliance Audit

This audit is based on site at your service and will outline the HR shortfalls with compliance as a priority. This package will include a full audit and report outlining options available to allow compliance in each area. A Consultant expert from the EYES team will perform your HR Audit and provide a report indicating areas of compliance and areas requiring improvement with a road map of how to implement changes.

Contract and handbook review/development

Preparing or reviewing and updating of documents, such as Contracts of Employment and staff handbooks to meet legal and regulatory obligations and in line with best practice.

One to One Consultancy for complex HR matters

Preparation and review of HR related correspondence including guidance, paperwork and documentation to support supervisions, appraisals, and discipline matters as necessary. Tailored advice for critical HR matters. Dedicated expert support and mentoring is given as you navigate your processes and procedures.

Mini “Virtual” HR Audit

This phone/questionnaire-based audit gives limited but valuable advice on putting processes, procedures and systems in place to ensure compliance and good HR Practices such as introduction of required polices/procedures and correct application of statutory leave.
