1. PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS
- The price of individual products is listed in the Online Shop, on the description page, and in the shopping basket
- The price of the product includes VAT
- The price of the product does not include the packing and delivery cost
- All prices are current and are updated regularly
- It is the price of the item at the time of purchase that you will pay
- Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please check your spam folder or contact us if you do not receive this email.
2. DELIVERY INFORMATION
- Early Childhood Ireland can deliver to customers in the Republic of Ireland and Europe. Shipping fees may vary
- Early Childhood Ireland can deliver to customers in the UK; however, excise duties may apply. Shipping fees may vary
- For Standard An Post Delivery – we aim to deliver within 2 working days. Delivery lead times can vary at various stages or busy periods in the year. We have no control over delivery times by third parties
- For Express An Post Delivery – we aim to deliver the next working day. Delivery lead times can vary at various stages or during busy periods in the year. We have no control over delivery times by third parties
- You can choose delivery to your private home address or any other address. Please note that you must provide an Eircode and contact number
- If delivery is attempted but unsuccessful, the order will be returned to the sender, and customers will be responsible for rearranging delivery or collection with the courier.
- If a package is not delivered within 2 working days, please contact us immediately on 014057100. We will liaise with the delivery provider to investigate and, where applicable, issue a replacement or refund.
3. DELIVERY CHARGES
- The exact delivery charge options will be clearly stated at the shopping cart checkout stage. This calculation will take into consideration the post, packaging, and delivery costs
4. PAYMENT TERMS
- The total purchase price, including VAT and the delivery charge, will be shown in your shopping cart at checkout
- When you shop on earlychildhoodireland.ie,the payment is made via a secure connection
- You can pay for products purchased on our Early Childhood Ireland website using:
- Debit/Credit Card
- Direct bank transfer
*Bank transfer payments will result in delays as payment must be cleared before processing your order. Items must be paid in full before they can be dispatched.
5. RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Following European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013*, we will accept items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them. You are entitled to a refund provided you inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery of the goods. The goods must be in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging, along with any accessories and free gifts received with them. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop, but you must not use them or input any data on them. Whilst the goods are in your possession, you must take reasonable care of them.
- If you return a product that is damaged or used in a way that significantly reduces its value, we reserve the right to reduce the refund
- All returns must be made in the original packaging
- All product returns are to be sent back to: Autofulfil, Unit B3 Deerpark Industrial Estate, Oranmore, Galway H91 4D66
- You will be required to make arrangements for the return of the product/s and return costs
- Customers must contact us at [email protected] before returning any item to receive return authorisation
- Refunds for returns will not include the original delivery fee unless the item was faulty or incorrectly sent
- If an item is faulty or incorrect, Early Childhood Ireland will cover the return shipping costs
- If your delivery arrives and the boxes/packages are damaged, we recommend that you take a photograph of the packaging before unwrapping the item/s. This allows us to identify the reasons for the damage and prevent such incidents in the future. A photograph will be required in the event of an insurance claim for goods damaged in transit
- For insurance purposes, customers must report any damage or issues within five days of receiving/not receiving the package to allow us to resolve the matter
*Amendment Notice: Regulations have been amended by the “European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) (Amendment) Regulations 2014. This change is to Regulation 1 of the 2013 regulations. Paragraph (2) of Regulation 1 is amended to specify that the 2013 regulations come into operation on 14 June 2014 and apply to contracts concluded on or after that date. This change effectively establishes the date on which the 2013 regulations become legally effective and applicable.
6. CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER
- If you wish to cancel/amend your order before dispatch, please contact us immediately at 01 405 7100 with your order reference number. If the order has not been processed, a full refund will be issued

7. REFUNDS
- Once we have received the goods from you, we will refund you for the cost of the product. Please note that refunds take up to 5 to 7 working days to be credited back to your card
- If an item is returned in a condition that reduces its resale value, a partial refund may be issued

9. MEMBER DISCOUNT CODES
- Discount codes are valid on one online order and are not transferable. The discount is only applied to the cost of goods sold, it does not apply to delivery charges or any additional fees

- Early Childhood Ireland is not liable for delays or failure in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supplier failures, or transport disruptions.
