ERASMUS+ Learning Mobility Programme

Only applicants that have not previously attended a Leargas study visit in the last 3 years will be eligible to apply.

All participants must be available to travel and return with the group, for the duration of the study visit.

Erasmus+ aims to modernise and improve the quality of teaching, training and youth work across Europe, and to support the development, transfer and implementation of innovative practices. These objectives are closely tied with the Europe 2020 strategy of achieving a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy by 2020 for all of Europe’s citizens. Fundamental goals for Erasmus+ include improving key competences and skills, and fostering partnerships between education and employment.

The programme is administered through Leargas who manage international programmes on behalf of the European Commission and the Irish Government.

Léargas:

  • communicates the value of international cooperation and exchange in education, training and youth work
  • makes international cooperation and exchange accessible to a wide range of people
