Let’s Play Ireland

Let’s Play Ireland

We are delighted to share with you some of the video resources for parents that Early Childhood Ireland have been working on in collaboration with DCYA. Let’s Play Ireland, launched last week, is a government-led initiative aimed at promoting play for all children living in Ireland during the COVID-19 emergency, providing access to a range of play resources for children online at Gov.ie.

These videos, which are now available in the “Preschool at Home” section of the First 5 website, aim to inspire families to discover the learning and play that can take place at home

As well as activities for parents to enjoy with their children, the online resources also give tips on supporting children with their feelings, and ideas and activities for learning through play during these challenging times.

If you would like to share these resources with the parents in your service please copy the link below and paste it into the email that you are sending to parents: parents portal

Additional resources will be continually developed and added to the Let’s Play Ireland.
