Workshops for a Playful Journey

A Playful Journey

Recognising the potential of everyday activities to assist children 0-6 years with learning and development

Aistear; the National Curriculum Framework is in place to ensure each child becomes a competent and confident learner. Aistear is the Irish word for journey. A child’s journey of learning and development takes place through play. Play allows for children to explore their environment and surroundings in a way which is meaningful and relevant.

This set of workshops will introduce the themes of Aistear, the role of play to support learning and development and using every day experiences to guide your curriculum.
