A kitten and children looking at a kitten - February 2017 Learning Stories Winners

The natural dispositions of children are so evident throughout this story as their loving, caring, compassionate natures are so plain to see. The finding of Rosie, a poor, abandoned cat became the main focus of the children as they placed all their energy in getting her back to health, happily and contently. They researched how to mind her and even made their mark in the community by adding their tokens in Tesco to the ‘cat carer’ fundraiser. This really is a sweet and loving story, reminding us of how truly caring children are.
