Winter Woolies

The introductory session focuses on the exploration of animal coverings in conjunction with games, songs and stories to engage children in the topic.
Interactive resources such as our big books, secret clothes bag and picture sticks add extra fun and interest to the discussions.

A walk and talk tour of the farm then allows them to connect their new learning to the real life animals they visit. This module is designed to follow the Aistear Early Childhood Curriculum and responds to the “Exploring and Thinking” strand. Come and learn about the wonders of winter woollies!

Farm-tastic Foods

Interactive resources such as our big books, eggs basket and food picture game add extra fun and interest to the discussions.

Zoo Classroom – 20 mins
A discussion on these foods then introduces them to some basic nutritional principals in a fun way, by incorporating games, stories and songs. This module is designed to follow the Aistear Early Childhood Curriculum and responds to the strand of “Wellbeing”.
