Upcoming Training

October 27, 2015

We are continuing to roll out our Autumn Training Schedule around the country with a range of exciting courses, including the following:

  • Occupational First Aid, Dublin, 31st October

This one day refresher course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare the qualified Occupational First Aider to administer emergency care in the workplace.  Participants will learn a high level of practical skill and theoretical knowledge so that they can deal competently with any situation that may arise in the working environment.

  • Workshops for a Playful Journey around the country on a range of dates throughout November

Aistear is the Irish word for journey. A child’s journey of learning and development takes place through play. Play allows for children to explore their environment and surroundings in a way which is meaningful and relevant.

This set of workshops will introduce the themes of Aistear, the role of play to support learning and development and using every day experiences to guide your curriculum.

  • Food Safety Awareness, Meath, 5th November

This short course is suitable for all childcare staff serving/reheating food, preparing fruit and low risk snacks, cleaning or working with children. The course aims to give learners an understanding of basic food safety and HACCP requirements in a childcare setting.
