Small Grant Opportunity for Community Providers

Small Grant Opportunity for Community Providers

Early Childhood Ireland draws members attention to a small grant programme launched by Make Ireland Sustainable for All to support local actions and initiatives on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) in Ireland.

Grants are available up to a maximum of €2,000 for projects. The purpose of the grant is to raise awareness about the SDGs through the Make Ireland Sustainable for All programme and support local groups to take practical actions on implementing the SDGs in Ireland.

The UN 2030 Agenda has identified targets, to which our government has committed, called Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs for short. Click here for more information on the SDGs

The deadline for applications is the 15th February 2019. Application forms and more details on the eligibility requirements of the funding programme can be found on the Make Ireland Sustainable for All website.

As part of our international policy work, Early Childhood Ireland has engaged with the SDGs in calling for increased government investment the early years sector. Members can find out more about this work here
