Members Study Tour to Reggio Children – April 2023

The first activity of The Reggio Children Project 2023, funded by National Pyjama Day, took place in April 2023.

24 Early Childhood Ireland members travelled to Italy as part of the Reggio Children Project 2023, funded by National Pyjama Day. They immersed itself in the Reggio Emilia Approach, reflected on the values of the Approach and reported a sense of calm towards learning as well as collaboration between colleagues and parents. So much learning has been brought back to Ireland, with several settings already implementing these new ideas.

The findings during this tour, along with our [May masterclass events] (link), will inspire an [eLearning toolki](link)t for members of Early Childhood Ireland later this year.
