Give parents/guardians a copy of your Administration of Medication policy and get prior consent for the administration of medication from the parents/guardians.
Stipulation of the ‘Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016’ Regulation 10 – Ensure that your setting has written policies available in the setting as set out in schedule 5. These policies include a policy on the administration of medication.
