Dinosaur Explorer

As part of Zoorassic World, the Discovery and Learning Department are launching a new programme called ‘Dinosaur Explorer’ for early year’s learners this autumn.

The programme gives children the opportunity to learn about dinosaurs and their fossils by becoming dinosaur explorers. Wearing palaeontologist jackets, children will get the opportunity to use special equipment to find fossils buried deep in sand and rock in our Dinosaur Discovery zone!

This hands-on exploratory programme aims to bring out children’s curiosity and to develop skills of inquiry to learn more about dinosaurs.

Sessions are delivered in our state of the art classroom in the Farmhouse and children are taken on an interactive tour of the vegetable garden and learn about the animals on Family Farm.

A special discounted rate is available to Early Childhood Ireland members of €7 per child with one adult free with every three children when you supply your ECI membership number.
