National Pyjama Day Terms Conditions

1. Introduction

We appreciate your support for Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day. To protect all participating parties, we have put together these terms and conditions.
By registering to participate in Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
In addition, when using Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day merchandise, you shall be subject to the guidelines outlined in the intellectual property clause of this agreement.
Registration and/or participation in this event will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the below terms and conditions, please do not register for or take part in this event.

2.GDPR
Early Childhood Ireland respects your privacy and your rights to control your personal data. We inform you about what data we collect from you and why we collect it. The Early Childhood Ireland Privacy Statement explains the personal information that we collect from you, how we will use it and how we protect it. Full details are on our Data Protection Policy and Privacy Statement which can be viewed on our website.

3. Registration
If you have organised an official National Pyjama Day 2023 fundraising event, please use your setting’s unique donation link to return monies raised.

4. National Pyjama Day pack
4.1 If you have not received your Early Childhood Ireland National Pyjama Day pack within 10 working days of registration, please contact:
nationalpyjamaday@earlychildhoodireland.ie

4.2 The mobile number and address provided during registration will be shared with a third-party courier service to ensure delivery

4.3 Early Childhood Ireland is not responsible for the late delivery of your Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day pack

5. Non-participation in National Pyjama Day
5.1 If you decide not to take part in National Pyjama Day after you have registered, you must:

a) Email us at nationalpyjamaday@earlychildhoodireland.ie to let us know you are no longer taking part before the event starts (i.e., before Friday, 17 November 2023)

OR

b) Call our office on 01 405 7100 before the event starts (i.e., before Friday, 17 November 2023) to let a members of Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day team know that you are no longer taking part in the event

5.2 You are obliged to return Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day pack to us within 10 working days if you decide not to take part

5.3 Early Childhood Ireland is not responsible for the cost incurred in returning the pack

5.4 Early Childhood Ireland reserves the right to request the return of a National Pyjama Day pack

5.5 Please note that all funds raised as part of National Pyjama Day must be returned to Early Childhood Ireland. Early Childhood Ireland’s Board has formally adopted the Charities Governance Code, as well as the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public as devised by the Charities Regulator. Early Childhood Ireland has received the Charities Institute Ireland Triple Lock certification for its good fundraising, transparent reporting, and good governance practice. 5.6 Early Childhood Ireland partners with the Community Foundation Ireland who carry out a closed call for proposals, complete due diligence, provide robust grant management and oversee grant reporting of the National Pyjama Day charity partner.

6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day and all its original content are the sole property of Early Childhood Ireland and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws

6.2 For transparency purposes, we ask that you do not hold any other Pyjama Day events on the same day as Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day

6.3 If you register for Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day and receive a pack, you cannot fundraise for another charity using our materials

6.4 All branded merchandise for National Pyjama Day must only be used to fundraise for the Early Childhood Ireland National Pyjama Day event

7. Complaints
7.1 Early Childhood Ireland’s complaint policy on our website outlines the procedures and guidelines for members to follow when making a complaint.
