National Childcare Scheme

National Childcare Scheme

Staff from Early Childhood Ireland received very worthwhile  training from Pobal last week on the forthcoming National Childcare Scheme. Our Support Point colleagues are ready, willing, and able to reply to members’ queries by telephone on (01) 405 7103 or by email.

As members know, nationwide training for providers is now available to book via the Scheme’s website. The Department of Children & Youth Affairs will also deliver a dedicated masterclass on the Scheme at our Annual Conference on 13 April. This will provide a timely opportunity for Early Childhood Ireland’s members to engage further with the relevant officials. As there have been some serious examples of misinformation about the Scheme in online forums, our Policy & Advocacy and Support Point teams are putting together a ‘Fact Check’ resource for members, which we will post online and update regularly. We will alert members directly when this becomes available.  The content will be based on your ongoing queries, so please don’t hesitate to contact us on (01) 405 7103 or by email with any questions.

We understand that members have important sustainability and other decisions to make and, as your national representative body, Early Childhood Ireland wants to make sure you are equipped with accurate and timely information at all times.
