1. What is a Group Insurance Scheme?
Early Childhood Ireland’s Group Insurance scheme operated through Arachas allows members to access comprehensive insurance cover at Competitive rates. Group Insurance packages are customised to meet the needs of Early Childhood Ireland members.

3. Do I have Risky/Adventurous Play Cover?
Yes, our Group Insurance Scheme includes Risky/Adventurous play in the policy cover. Please check your policy documents for further details.
4. Am I covered for Pyjama Day?
Fundraising for National Pyjama Day, brought to you by Early Childhood Ireland, in your Early Years or School Age Care setting is covered by the Early Childhood Ireland’s Group Insurance scheme.
5. How do I know I am receiving the group insurance scheme discount?
The Group Insurance Scheme discount is available to all active Service Provider and Parent and Toddler Group members of Early Childhood Ireland.
Membership of Early Childhood Ireland does not automatically guarantee access to the Group Insurance Scheme, as Arachas, the insurance broker, reserves the right to assess and approve participation in the scheme.
To confirm that you are receiving the discount, Arachas will note it on your insurance renewal documentation.
Additionally, if you operate more than one setting, it is a condition of membership of Early Childhood Ireland that you must hold a separate membership for each setting to access member benefits, including the Group Insurance Scheme discount.
6. Can my staff and Family avail of Home and Motor Insurance discounts?
Yes, staff and family can avail of group Car and Home insurance discounts through the Group Insurance Scheme.
7. Does membership guarantee access to the Group Insurance Scheme?
No, membership of Early Childhood Ireland does not automatically guarantee access. While members are eligible to apply, Arachas, the insurance broker, reserves the right to assess and approve participation in the scheme.
