Membership Renewal 2020

Membership Renewal 2020

Countdown to membership renewal

Thank you for being a member of Early Childhood Ireland. In recognition of the impact of COVID-19, we are delighted to have been able to extend your membership by 3 months this year, from 1 October 2020 to 1 January 2021. The upcoming renewal period is for 9 months, from 1 January 2021 to 30 September 2021, after which we will revert to yearly renewal on 1 October 2021.

Please note: You can renew your membership from 1 December 2020 and there are some key changes to bear in mind about this year’s process:

  1. Online renewal: Due to COVID-19, this year’s renewal process will be digital and paperless. Payment will be made online, by card. Not only will this approach protect our members and staff, but it will also help our organisation to be more environmentally friendly.
  1. Payment: To ensure secure payments, we have implemented ‘3D Secure’, which means that when you pay by card, you will be asked for a 3D Secure passcode. This passcode will be sent as a text message from your bank to your mobile phone. Please ensure that you have your mobile phone number linked to your bank card, by checking with your bank in advance.
  1. Update contact details: The online process will provide you with an opportunity to update your details, allowing us to share more tailored and relevant information with you during the year.
  1. How to renew: From 1 December, you will be able to renew by visiting our website and clicking on the ‘renew’ button.  The online renewal process works best on a desktop, laptop or tablet computer, rather than on a mobile phone.

What you need to do now:

  • Check with your bank that your mobile phone number is linked to your bank card, as a passcode will be sent as a text message to your phone when you try to renew online.
  • Wait to hear from us again when the renewal process opens on 1 December 2020.
