Level 7 & 8 Degree Programme Consultation Working Supper

The picture above is of the Level 7 & 8 Degree Programme Consultation working supper, which took place on 22nd February with interested members of ECI’s Policy and Implementation Panel: Cathy Bent, Childcare Supervisor at Sophia House in Donabate, Co. Dublin; Margaret Birmingham, Manager of Rainbow Lane sessional service in Longwood, Co. Meath; Maria Gaynor, Owner-Manager of Sugradh full-day childcare in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary; Valerie Gaynor, Manager of Creative Kids in Walkinstown, Dublin; Louise Kilbane, Owner-Manager of Lollipop Lane in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo and Lelia Murphy, Manager of Crumlin Childcare Centre, Dublin.

ECI was represented by: Rita Melia, Director of Training and Practice; Amy McArdle, Policy Officer; Helen Carey, Information Officer and Noreen Moloney, Research Associate.  

On foot of this working supper, we completed a joint ECI and ECI Policy and Implementation Panel response the Department of Education and Skills Survey Monkey questionnaire on Wednesday 28th February 2018. In addition, ECI sent this written submission to the Department.
