Early Years Practitioner/AIMS Support Practitioner

Rathnure Educare Preschool and Daycare

Are seeking an energetic, dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (Part Time) & AIMS Support Practitioner (6 hours daily) to join our expanding team. The successful candidates will:

o   Ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for the care, safety and welfare of children in the service.

o   Actively engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities

o   Communicate effectively with children, parents and team members.

o   Meet established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice.

Candidates must also have:

¨      Minimum FETAC Level 5/6 in a childcare qualification or equivalent. Level 7 is desirable but not essential.

¨      Practical experience working in a childcare setting would be favourable.

¨      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

¨      An ability to work on their own initiative and work as part of a team.

¨      Knowledge of Aistear & Siolta Frameworks

¨      Sincere and genuine love of children

¨      First Aid and Manual Handling an advantage
