Eco–Resolution for the New Year – Recycle more batteries and win a recycling party!

Last change to register – Recycle batteries to be in with a chance of winning an ERP Recycling Party!

The European Recycling Platform (ERP) and Early Childhood Ireland have teamed up in an initiative to promote battery recycling and awareness among younger audiences. Kick start the new year by making an eco-resolution to recycle more batteries at your childcare service! Get your little recyclers of the future to bring used batteries into your service and place them in the ERP Go Recycle and Win Battery Boxes to be in with a chance of winning a recycling party at the end of the school year.

The service that collects the most used batteries per head at the end of the school year will win their very own recycling party which includes face painting, balloon modelling, puppet show, disco and much more! The winning childcare facility will also receive a voucher to the value of €250.

If you haven’t already registered, there is still time to get started with your New Year’s eco-resolution! Call 0818 332 757 to register. If you require new battery boxes, need a collection or want to update your details, you can also call 0818 332 757 or email schools@erpcollect.ie.

Registration closes on February 14th 2014.

If you have battery boxes from last year’s campaign simply download our kit to educate your young recyclers and start collecting used batteries today. .

The battery collection competition is open to childcare facilities in Fingal, Monaghan, Cavan, Clare, Limerick, Kerry, Louth and Meath.

For more information or to download your free pre-school kit please log on to www.earlychildhoodireland.ie/ERP.
