Description
Early Childhood Ireland is delighted host a 3-part webinar series with AsIAm – delivering autism expertise. This 3-part webinar will be suitable for all early learning and care educators supporting children on the autism spectrum within their settings. It will serve as a refresher for those who participated in the Teach Me As I Am programme, or as an introduction for educators who have not undertaken training of this kind.
Webinar 1: Monday 22 June – What is autism?
Webinar 2: Monday 29 June – This webinar will focus on communication and the sensory environment, outlining strategies and approaches most effective when supporting a child with communication and/or sensory differences.
Webinar 3: Monday 6 July – This webinar will cover partnership with families and helping children to manage change, which is particularly relevant as we integrate to the early years setting following COVID-19 restrictions.
