Announcing the launch of Early Childhood Ireland’s Learning Hub

Update – Please do not attend our offices

September 7, 2020

In light of current public health concerns about COVID-19, Early Childhood Ireland wants to advise you about precautions we are taking and measures we ask you to adhere to in order to protect the health and safety of our staff. Please note that we are currently not in a position to welcome members or any other visitors to our offices at this time.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter and the respect you show for our staff by adhering to this request. We politely ask that you do not ask us to make exceptions as we will not be in a position to facilitate such requests.

The public health guidance is being consistently monitored and the restriction on visitors will be removed once it is safe to do so.

Contacting us

We will, of course, continue to manage all your membership needs via phone, email and online.

Garda vetting applications

Garda vetting applications should be sent by post to Early Childhood Ireland’s office:

Garda Vetting,

Early Childhood Ireland,

Unit 12c Hainault House,

Belgard Square South,

Tallaght,

Dublin, D24 RFV0

Please ensure there are 2 forms for every Garda vetting application – a Vetting Invitation form NVB1 completed by the applicant, and an Identification Verification form completed by the owner/ manager. (Please note that it is not necessary to send copies of the identity verification documentation unless it is the owner/manager applying for vetting for themselves.)

Due to a very high volume of Garda vetting applications, there may be a slight delay in processing times. You can read more here

Online Shop

The most efficient method of placing orders for the shop is online.

Points to remember when ordering:

Due to the large volume of orders that we are currently receiving, the most efficient method of placing your order is online.

This will help us to process your order in a timely manner. If you wish to pay by either cheque or bank transfer, please select the ‘pay by cheque’ option.

An extra security measure has been added to the shop for card payments. Before the transaction can be completed, a passcode will be sent to the mobile number linked to the bank account.

Please ensure your mobile number is registered with the bank and that you have access to that mobile phone when placing an order online/over the phone.

Other points to note:

  • Provide an address that is accessible, including the Eircode.
  • Provide a relevant contact number.
  • An additional shipping fee may apply to large/bulky orders. (We will contact you prior to shipping).
  • Expect a longer delay in processing your order during this period.
  • Stock is subject to availability.

If you have difficulty logging in to the shop go to https://shop.earlychildhoodireland.ie/ and click ‘Forgot your password’ under ‘Member Login’.

You will then be sent a link by email. (You must have access to the email address saved on the shop).
