We had a wonderful time at our conference Healthy, Happy, Able… are Irish Children Fit for Life?

Thank you to everyone who made it on the day. We got a huge amount of media coverage for a very important national policy issue. The atmosphere and energy from all the delegates was a sight to behold. The Q&A with Tusla on Inspections was insightful. The workshops proved particularly popular. The venue was super. And the awards ceremony at the end of the day was really good fun. We had some marvellous Keynote Speakers too.

Donal O’Shea opened proceedings with his inspirational speech “Eating Well, Being Well”

Catherine Woods rounded off the afternoon in some style with her Keynote: “The vital role of physical activity in promoting the health and wellbeing of young children”
