Child Paths can help:

  • Communications with families
  • Remove all your paperwork
  • Compliance
  • Finance and Schemes

Below you can find feedback from providers giving you some insights into how they benefit from using the platform.

Communication with families:

Approximately 80% of Child Paths customers have tried or used another platform before moving to them. Nine out of every ten services that sign up continue using their platform. One thing COVID-19 has highlighted is the benefits of using digital technology in your service. It is an excellent way to communicate with parents and promote parental involvement.

Remove all your paperwork and save money

For years Child Paths had seen first-hand the endless amount of paperwork required in services. They have worked extremely hard to deliver a reliable, secure, user-friendly and very comprehensive platform to remove all your paperwork. It also gives you and your staff the time they need and deserve to spend with your children.

Marie Daly – CEO of the Crann Support Group, was one of our very early adopters, back in 2015. Maire said:

We are saving over €1600 a year on paper and ink in just one of our services.

Finance and schemes

You can set up recurring invoices so it’s done automatically each month. The software searches each child’s profile to ensure the right scheme funding is applied to the invoice automatically. There is also a direct debit mandate within the app so this can be easily uploaded into your bank account.

Deirdre Bushell (Director of Operations – Grovelands Childcare) said about their new invoicing feature

We are delighted to be working with Child Paths on their new finance feature. It’s great to be able to engage with a company that have such knowledge of the Irish childcare sector and the funding schemes. They’ve built-in recurring invoicing whether you charge weekly or monthly and it automatically links in with the child’s scheme funding. With the ability to apply bespoke fee types, discount levels and add-ons it simplifies the whole process of generating invoices. This will be hugely beneficial from Pobal compliance purposes as it shows the funding breakdowns on the parents invoice allowing for all schemes including NCS wrap around hours. The invoices will be automatically available on the familys’ Child Paths account once they have been enabled which means no more letters getting lost at the bottom of bags and parents can see what their upcoming invoice will be.

Fear of using technology

One significant factor that can prevent services from removing pen and paper is the fear of using technology. This demonstration will give you time to look at many of the different aspects of the platform from observations, curriculum planning and milestones with action plans to occupancy planner, invoicing and schemes and your day to day activities like attendance, food, activities, nappy changing, sleeping and much more.

Keira Ruane Hanney – Fairyland Creche, Oranmore, Galway.

Child Paths has given our time back to the children, no longer drowning in paperwork! The team have created a breakthrough product for the Childcare industry and families. They continue to improve and modernise the software before any new regulations come into effect, saving owners/managers time & reduced stress. I quite simply can’t recommend Child Paths highly enough. Best decision I have made to date with my company. Thank you Child Paths.
