Autumn Training Calendar
  • QQI accredited Level 5 or 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education

Since 31 December 2016, all staff working directly with children must hold a minimum of QQI Level 5 Major Award in Early Childhood Care and Education (or an equivalent qualification that is recognised on the list of qualifications published by The Department of Children and Youth Affairs (Early Years Recognised Qualifications). If you are providing the ECCE scheme all ECCE room leaders must hold a minimum QQI Level 6 Major Award in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent) from December 2016.  This  is a requirement of the ECCE contract.

We offer both classroom based and online training. If you are interested in our Level 5 or 6 programmes please fill in our Expression of Interest form below.  We will then schedule courses based on demand in each area.

  • Training to meet regulation requirements

We offer First Aid, Fire Safety, Manual Handling and Food Safety Awareness courses.  Please fill in our Expression of Interest form below if you would like to see any of these courses in your area:

  • Continuous Professional Learning

Research suggests that engaging in continuous professional learning is a key element of being an effective educator. Educators will develop and refine their knowledge, skills and competencies. Our training provides content which is current, considers best practice and is relevant to early year’s educators. If you are interested in any of our CPL programmes please do fill in the Expression of Interest form for that programme.
