- QQI accredited Level 5 or 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education
Since 31 December 2016, all staff working directly with children must hold a minimum of QQI Level 5 Major Award in Early Childhood Care and Education (or an equivalent qualification that is recognised on the list of qualifications published by The Department of Children and Youth Affairs (Early Years Recognised Qualifications). If you are providing the ECCE scheme all ECCE room leaders must hold a minimum QQI Level 6 Major Award in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent) from December 2016. This is a requirement of the ECCE contract.

- Continuous Professional Learning
Research suggests that engaging in continuous professional learning is a key element of being an effective educator. Educators will develop and refine their knowledge, skills and competencies. Our training provides content which is current, considers best practice and is relevant to early year’s educators.
