Providers will have received the following email, regarding the ECCE scheme:
An ECCE payment “ has been processed and will be transferred to your bank account within the next 3 to 5 working days.
This payment represents an advance payment for the provision of services under the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme for the pre-school year 2012/2013.
For services participating in the programme for the first time in September 2012, the advance payment has been calculated on the basis of an 8 week payment for 5 children.
For existing services, the advance payment has been calculated on the basis of an 8 week payment for the number of children in your service at the end of the 2011/2012 pre-school year.
Any outstanding overpayment to your service has been deducted from the advance payment.
Subject to receipt of your electronic returns, and verification of the data contained in those returns, it is currently anticipated that the payment of the balance of the funding due to your service for the first pre-school term will be processed on Tuesday 23rd October, and transferred to your account within the following 3 to 5 days.
However, you should check the Department’s website for any revisions to the payment dates”.
