A full breakdown of the costs associated with each membership category is as follows:

A once off joining fee of €31.50 is payable by first time applicants only.
(Please note that this does not apply to Student Members)

Terms and Conditions of Membership

• Early Childhood Ireland has two membership date options:
  Annual membership of Early Childhood Ireland extends from January 1st – December 31st.
  Autumn term membership extends from 27th August – 31st December.

• Regardless of when an individual renews or purchases membership of Early Childhood Ireland, renewal date is always 1st January.

• Membership which has not been renewed by 28th February, will lapse, all renewals after this date will incur a once off administration fee.

• Membership is paid per service, for service membership.

• Individual membership is a membership type, where the individual does not have an ECCE service.

• Early Childhood Ireland group insurance scheme is only available to service members.

• Each service must have individual membership to avail of the insurance scheme.

• ECCE providers who have more than one service must take out membership for all services, Early Childhood Ireland will only accept  membership from service providers, who have multiple ECCE services if  all of their ECCE services are members of Early Childhood Ireland.

• ECCE providers of multiple services receive a discount on second and subsequent services.
