Filling in ECCE Forms

The dates for your ECCE e-return are as follows:

10/09 – 14/09/2012

ECCE snap shot week.
(All parent declaration forms should be completed for children attending during this week and returned to the service by the 12th Sept 2012 deadline.)

12/09/2012

The electronic form used for the service return and the ECCE Service Guide will be available on the DCYA webpage from this date.

This electronic form allows the DCYA compile the data contained into a database, which is then used to verify the eligibility of the children, and to calculate the amounts payable to services.

12/09 – 18/09/2012

Services make their electronic returns.  In most cases, this should take no longer than one hour.

Important Points to Remember When Completing the Forms

  • Rather than make multiple returns, you are asked not to submit until you have received all Parent Declaration forms or by the closing date at the latest.

  • Please ensure that all the children registered are actually attending your service (returns will be cross-referenced).  If a child has pre-enrolled in 2 services and both services include him/her in their return, payment to both services, in respect of this child, will be delayed, until this Office ascertains which applicant should receive the relevant capitation.

  • Please also ensure that each Parent Declaration form is signed both by the parent and by you.

  • Please ensure that you do not retain the PPS numbers.

Within 3 working days of having completed this electronic return, please contact your local CCC to verify that your e-return has been received by DCYA.  By emailing your local CCC quoting your service name and reference number.

Following this confirmation,  the Service Declaration form and all Parent Declaration forms should be posted to the following address by the deadline of the 21st September 2012:

‘ECCE e-returns’,
Childcare Directorate,
Department of Children & Youth Affairs,
43 – 49 Mespil Road,
Dublin 4,

If you encounter problems with your contact your local CCC for assistance.
