Leaders in Training
As one of Ireland’s leading providers of training in the childhood sector, Early Childhood Ireland offers a comprehensive and extensive range of childcare training and childcare education programmes.
The courses we develop and deliver cater for a diverse range of learners and our aim is to equip learners with the core skills and knowledge relevant to early childhood care and education.
Range of Training Available
Our training includes programmes and workshops, aimed at early childhood practitioners wishing to improve their skills and knowledge, and accredited training programmes, awarded through the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC).
We offer a B.A. in Early Childhood Teaching and Learning to the early childhood care and education sector. This is a three year, part-time degree developed in conjunction with the National University of Ireland, Maynooth and Froebel College of Education.
We are an approved centre for the delivery of a City & Guilds Train the Trainer programme with learners awarded a Certificate in Teaching Adult Learners.
Our Commitment
Early Childhood Ireland is committed to equality of access, participation and outcomes for those undertaking training and engaging in the learning process.
Our training department engages in ongoing professional development and research to ensure that the training we deliver is informed by up to date knowledge from both a national and an international perspective.
Our aim is to promote good practice that contributes to quality across the early years sector.
