Over the past month Early Childhood Ireland has been representing members on a range of issues including; participating in a briefing on the Children's Referendum, producing a Schedule of Fees template for Early Childhood Ireland members, inviting members to take part in a Diversity of Patronage survey and responding to the rates/valuation amendment.
Over the past month Early Childhood Ireland has been representing members on a range of issues including; participating in a Sick Pay Briefing in Leinster House, Launching a Battery Recylcing Campaign for Preschoolers, involvement in a joint initiative with Dublin Zoo an joining with the Ark Theatre company to provide group discounts to our members for a creative new show for 2-4 year olds.
Over the past month Early Childhood Ireland has been representing members on a range of issues including; Responding to the results of our Sick Pay survey in the media, negotiating with the DCYA to bring about a change to the rule regarding Higher Capitation with effect from September 2012, publicising the plight of parents needing support with childcare costs and responding to media attention about the cost of childcare.
Over the past month Early Childhood Ireland has been representing members on a range of issues including; conducting a survey on Sick Pay in order to present our members' views before the government, responding to article about the inspection process, participating in drawing up a new code of governance for charities and liaising with the Department of Children and Youth Affairs on an ongoing basis regarding the issue of higher capitation for full day care services.
Over the past month Early Childhood Ireland has been representing members on a range of issues including; helping to shape and improve the lives of children in Ireland by participating in the development of the New National Children's Strategy and contributing to this as part of an expert advisory group; conducting a survey on members' experiences of their latest HSE inspection in order to best represent their views and engage with the HSE about the whole inspection process and how it can be improved, as well as responding to issues affecting the sector such as obesity, the sick pay proposal, report on the deaths of children in care,children’s right’s referendum, laws on smacking, and childcare workers not getting training.
